On-site Clinical Training
The ZapIT Medical clinical training course is conducted by a licensed radiologic technologist at your facility! This allows for personalized, hands-on instruction for the exams performed at your facility, minimizing costs of having staff travel to off-site destinations and attending seminars with no hands-on experience!

We allow up to 4 trainees at a time to ensure a personal experience. The added benefit of this is that you can share the cost with other medical officesclose to you! Our fees vary depending on distance from our headquarters which is in Columbus, Ohio. Please contact us.
Online Didactic Training
The Ohio Department of Health requires individuals who desire to obtain a GXMO license to complete a course of training approved by the Department. ZapIT Education provides an approved online education course consisting of lectures and quizzes that include the curriculum required by the Ohio Department of Health. Our online course helps the student to acquire a basic knowledge and practical understanding of the fundamentals of radiation safety and the daily operation of diagnostic x-ray equipment. We feel that our format of lecture, quiz, and review is the optimal way for students to retain the information necessary to pass the licensing examination.
How to Register
Prior to registering for our course, we strongly encourage the student to purchase the textbook “Radiography Essentials of Limited Practice” by Bruce W. Long, Eugene D. Frank, and Ruth Ann Ehrlich. Reference to the textbook will be made throughout the course. The text book is available to purchase online at Amazon.com
Once the student successfully completes the program, a completion certificate is e-mailed to them and we send the appropriate examination application. Upon submission of the completed examination application, the individual is eligible to take the state licensing examination.
